New Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Mongolia appointed

By the Presidential Decree Zhalgas Adilbayev appointed as Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Mongolia.

Zhalgas ADILBAYEV

Born on December 15, 1964 in Zharsuat Village of the Atyrau region. Graduated with Honors from the Kazakh State University named after S.M. Kirov in 1990 with the degree of Historian and Instructor of SocioPolitical disciplines. Received postgraduate degree from the Kazakh National University named after AlFarabi in 1994. PhD Doctor.

Joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in May 1998. He started his diplomatic career as the Head of Division of the State Protocol. In 2002 he was the Head of State Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He also worked as the Counselor of the Embassy of Kazakhstan to Lithuania, MinisterCounselor of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Austria. He was the Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Gorgan (Iran) during 20092010.

During 20102015 he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan as the Deputy Chair of the International Economic Cooperation Committee and AmbassadoratLarge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan on the issues of cooperation with the Parliament and NGOs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He was MinisterCounselor of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Armenia during 20152017.

Before being appointed as the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Mongolia he worked as an AmbassadoratLarge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

Holds the diplomatic rank of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Counselor of the II Class. Speaks English language. Married, with two children.
