N.Nazarbayev was awarded the title of “Honorary Senator”


The First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev was given the status of “Honorary Senator”, the press service of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan the Leader of the Nation said.

Prior to the Senate plenary session, Nursultan Nazarbayev was given the status of “Honorary Senator”.

“Most of you have been working together for the last 30 years. We had many problems together. I am sincerely grateful to you for the decision to grant me the status of “Honorary Senator”, “Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

He emphasized the importance of the Parliament’s qualitative legislative work in the effective implementation of the reforms that the First President of Kazakhstan undertook.

“Our country is famous all over the world. Our economy has grown and the living standards of our citizens have grown. We have adopted several programs aimed at modernizing the state. You are actively involved in the implementation of these documents. The success of the reforms depends on your work, “the President said.

Nursultan Nazarbayev said that he decided to terminate the presidential powers to strengthen the stability of the society and ensure continuity of strategic development.

At the end of the meeting Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that the youth plays an important role in the further development and prosperity of independent Kazakhstan.
