N.Nazarbayev: Requirements for civil servants will increase
Chairman of the National Bank D.Akishev, Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council A.Smolin, Prosecutor General Zh. Assanov, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service “Syrbar” G.Baizhanov, as well as a number of senior officials of the Presidential Administration, members of the Government and Governor and Mayor of Almaty took the oath.
In his speech the Head of State noted that the requirements for civil servants will increase.
“Often there are cases of inefficient use of budgetary funds. Violations committed by public officials adversely affect the image of not only the civil service, but also of public administration as a whole”, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
The President of Kazakhstan said that the realities of the coming digital epoch require creative solutions and leaders who can carry out their effective implementation.
Nursultan Nazarbayev touched upon the development of the regional business that is of particular importance in the new stage of development.
“Implementation of this work is entrusted to the Governors, who are given the appropriate powers and possibilities. We need to teach people how to do business”, the President of Kazakhstan said.
The Head of State noted that the social sphere is always important.
“The conceptual changes in the economy and social sphere will be accompanied by the political modernization. Coming redistribution of powers between the branches of the government will strengthen the role of the Parliament, the Government and local authorities. It is necessary to immediately start to work in a completely new way. All of your thoughts and actions must proceed from the interests of the state”, Nursultan Nazarbayev concluded.
In conclusion, the President of Kazakhstan pointed to the scale and difficulty of the tasks of the management corps of the country, which implies a high level of responsibility of the political civil servants.
“I am sure you will honorably carry out your duties, flawlessly serving the interests of the people. We must do everything we can in order to strengthen our independence and the bright future of Kazakhstan”, the President of Kazakhstan summed up.
