Moscow hosts EEC Council` session chaired by Kazakhstan
Moscow hosted the regular meeting of the EEC Council chaired by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin.
The meeting considered 52 agenda items, where the sides reached mutually beneficial agreements on developing the Eurasian economic integration.
The meeting also discussed the issues of international industrial cooperation activities, advancement of technical regulation in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), harmonization of member-states legislation in ensuring the measures uniformity. Adoption of the order for approving the standard sample and measuring instruments allows creating additional conditions for business and trade, mutual acceptance of the product testing results.
“On fish and fish products safety” and “On restrictions of using the hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products” technical regulations have been adopted in order to ensure the protection of human`s life and health on the EEU territory.
Within the EEU Council there were identified priority technology platforms in the field of biomedicine, space and geoinformation technologies, photonics.
Eurasian technology platforms allow combining over 400 leading scientific and industrial organizations of EEU states. The organizations propose to consider over 130 joint innovation cooperative projects in the most promising areas.
Within the working trip to Moscow, the First Deputy Prime Minister Askar Mamin met with the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin, where the sides discussed the current state and prospects for developing cooperation in space, military and technical spheres.
