More than 451 thousand people took part in the state program “Labor”
As of September 1 of this year, 451.6 thousand people were participants of the State Program for the Development of Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship for 2017-2021 (hereinafter – the State Program “Labor”). 328.5 thousand people were employed, of which 200.7 thousand were employed, the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection reports.
15.2 thousand people were sent to short-term courses under the first direction of the program.
More than 5.5 thousand people received soft loans to start their own business, and 20.2 thousand received non-repayable government grants.
155.7 thousand people were employed in subsidized jobs, including: 16.6 thousand people in social jobs; youth practice – 21.4 thousand people; for public works – 117.4 thousand people.
As part of labor mobility, 1,342 families or 4,571 people relocated, including 1,952 people of working age. Of these, 1,329 people were permanently employed in the new place of residence, 111 people are engaged in entrepreneurial activities, 5 people were sent for training.
Let us recall that in 2020, 649 thousand people took part in the state program “Labor”. 437.3 thousand people were employed, of which 319.2 thousand were permanently employed. 12.7 thousand microloans for the development of mass entrepreneurship and 44.9 thousand non-repayable state grants for the implementation of new business ideas.
18.7 thousand people were sent to short-term training courses, and 18.4 thousand people were trained in VET organizations.
In addition, as part of increasing labor mobility, 1.8 thousand families with 5.8 thousand people relocated from overworked regions.
