More than 110K residents of Akmola rgn wait for obtaining land plots
According to the Article 44-1 of the Land Code of Kazakhstan, the applications (petitions) of citizens are taken for special registration and are satisfied as far as the preparation of sites for diversion or in the presence of free territories used for individual housing construction.
At the same time, the provision of land plots for individual housing construction is allowed on sites provided with water and electricity networks.
In settlements where there is no centralized water supply, the provision of such land plots is allowed only in the presence of power supply networks.
The provision of land plots for individual housing construction is carried out in order of priority.
Information about people in the waiting lists for the provision of land plots in Akmola region is posted on the websites of Mayor’s Offices of the districts, Kokshetau and Stepnogorsk cities.
It is also necessary to take into account that, according to the current land legislation, a land plot is granted on the right of temporary paid land tenure (lease) for a period of 3 years, with an area of 0.10 hectares.
In the specified period, a citizen must master the land plot (put into operation a building), after which the plot will be given to the private ownership, otherwise the land use will cease.
Thus, a legislator limits a possibility of using land plots granted free of charge for individual housing construction for commercial purposes and encourages them to be used for their intended purpose directly by a primary recipient.
