The Ministry of National Economy developed a number of legislative amendments to the regulation of trading activities, at a briefing in Central Communications Service, press-secretary of MNE Samal Ibrayeva reported.
According to the press-secretary, the prices for socially important goods from the beginning of the year grew by only 2%. “The greatest price increase was observed in beef, lamb. Among vegetables: potatoes, onions and cabbage. One of the factors affecting the change in prices is the increase in the cost of storage services. The reason for rising prices is also growing prices of feed, as well as increase of transport costs and higher prices for petroleum products”, – Samal Ibrayeva informed.
At the same time, as the press -secretary of MNE noted, the Ministry developed a number of legislative amendments to the regulation of trading activities.
“They are aimed at curbing speculative price increases. It is proposed to delegate authorities on establishment the limits of prices for socially important food products to local executive bodies, what will allow to respond on increasing of local prices quickly”, – the Speaker explained.
In addition, it is assumed that the local executive authorities will work closely with the business, which will allow determining the reasons for price increases objectively on-the-scene.
