Ministry of Investments and Development: Kazakhstan has identified priority countries for attracting investments
Kazakhstan will comprehensively and substantively work with priority countries to attract investments. This was reported by Minister of Investments and Development Zhenis Kassymbek during the briefing at the Government press center.
Zhenis Kassymbek reports that to date, within the framework of the National Investment Strategy, priority countries have been identified and it is planned to actively cooperate with them on issues of attracting foreign investments.
36 countries this the first circle, from them we select 11 priority countries with which we plan to work in this direction. These 11 countries are main investors in our economy. 25 years of Independence have shown that these countries primarily invest into Kazakhstan. Essentially, they are main investors across the world. Among them are such European countries as Germany and France, as well as the United States, Russia, China, South Korea, Japan and several others, Zh. Kassymbek said.
He noted that it is planned to substantively work with these states, in particular, Kazakh Invest already has representatives there who are working on specific projects and funds. In addition, for a year now, within each embassy in these countries, a special adviser to the ambassador is working on attracting investments.
