by November 14, 2016 Market

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Erlan Idrissov made at the Government meeting a number of proposals aimed at improving the investment climate in Kazakhstan.

The Minister informed that from January 1, 2017, Kazakhstan launches a visa-free regime up to 30 days for the OECD, European Union, Malaysia, Monaco, UAE and Singapore.

In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs proposes to introduce a system of automatic registration for those having the right to visa-free entry, holders of so-called investor visas, which will significantly improve the investment climate of Kazakhstan.

In addition, due to the Kazakhstans membership in WTO, EAEU and cooperation with the European Union, there is a need to develop a national trade policy concept with involvement of all interested agencies, which will also contribute to reducing administrative barriers and attracting investors.
