Ministers of the social bloc informed senators about the preparation of new bills

A working meeting of members of the Senate Bureau with ministers of the social bloc of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in the upper house of Parliament during which members of the government spoke about the bills submitted for consideration by the Senate.

Speaking at the meeting Deputy Prime Minister Berdibek Saparbayev informed that 9 bills and 4 related documents related to the social sphere had been submitted to Parliament. They were developed as part of the implementation of the instructions of Elbasy N. Nazarbayev and the President of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev.

B. Saparbayev emphasized that the main task is to improve the quality of bills introduced into the Parliament. The deputies criticized this issue more than once in the Senate. The government understands this problem and is ready to solve it.

The ministers of information and public development Dauren Abayev education and science Askhat Aymagambetov health Yelzhan Birtanov labor and social protection of the population of Birzhan Nurymbetov culture and sports of Aktota Raimkulov made information on specific bills expected results from their adoption and explanatory work with the population .

The chairmen of the Senate Standing Committees made comments and suggestions for each bill.

The head of the Senate D. Nazarbayev proposed together with the media community to develop an industry specific program to support domestic media.

We need to radically revise the attitude towards traditional media. These are television radio stations newspapers online media. This is a fundamentally important issue from the point of view of state policy and a very deep study of the issue is needed here said the Senate Chair.

Dariga Nazarbayeva also offered to hear information from the responsible ministries on the results of the Year of Youth and plans for holding the Year of the Volunteer in 2020.

Summing up the meeting with the ministers the members of the Bureau noted the productive format of such interaction which allows discussing the concepts of important bills before entering the Senate.

Vice Prime Minister B. Saparbayev thanked the senators for their joint work and stressed the readiness for an open dialogue.
