Medical appointment booking in Astana to be available in mobile app

In anticipation of the International Exhibition EXPO-2017, residents and guests of the capital with the help of an updated version of the mobile application Smart Astana will have easy access to open, relevant city services of Astana.

“The project should improve the level of accessibility and quality of information, make city services more convenient. The developers reflected on the full-fledged renewal of the mobile application concept in connection with the need to provide residents and guests of the capital with a wide range of new services”, the message reads.

The mobile application Smart Astana will include 12 categories of various services.

With the help of the mobile application you can get a schedule of concerts, performances, interesting events, buy tickets. Smart Astana will allow to see the schedule of the airport, train station and bus station. Also among the available services – online location of city buses, calling a taxi on the UBER and tourist places in the capital.

In addition, through the application residents of Astana will be able to contact the service 109, to find contacts of their precinct officer.

Currently, the work is underway to connect all capital medical institutions to the Smart Astana system. This will allow citizens to make an appointment with a doctor, see the schedule of their therapist or narrow specialists, call emergency services online.

It should be noted that budgetary funds are not spent for the implementation of the project. The services are connected by integrating existing information systems of government agencies and commercial partners. All services will be connected in three stages according to the approved schedule of the project “Web portal and mobile application Smart Astana”.
