Majilis to consider amendments to law on countering terrorism
According to the Majilis, in the first reading the deputies will consider the legislative amendments on combating extremism and terrorism. The bill is included in the agenda of the Chamber in response to the request of the Head of State. At the opening of the second session of the sixth convocation the President of Kazakhstan identified the strengthening of country’s legal foundations of security as a high priority.
In the first reading the Majilismen will consider the legislative innovations concerning the questions of perfection of the civil legislation. The bill is aimed at the expansion of the discretionary private right, types of property rights, the grounds of their origin, the improvement of the institute deals invalidation, as well as general and specific rules on the obligations of the Kazakh Civil Code.
The Chamber will consider the ratified bill � the Agreement in the form of an exchange of notes on the procedure for recognition of official documents confirming residency issued by the competent authorities of Kazakhstan and Russia in the framework of the Kazakh-Russian Convention on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of tax evasion on income and capital taxes.
In addition, at the meeting the Bureau has considered the issues to hold visiting sessions: the Majilis Committee on Finance and Budget on 13-14 October in South Kazakhstan region, the Committee on Legislation and Judicial-Legal Reform on 20-21 October in Pavlodar region, the Committee on Ecology and Environmental Sciences on 27-28 October, 2016 in Aktobe region.
