Legislative Amendments Enable Using PPP Tools In Infrastructural Projects
Construction of Big Almaty Ring Motor Road (BAKAD) begins in 2017, Vice Minister of Investments and Development Yerlan Khairov reports at the Government meeting.
The contract negotiations with Alsim Alarko Makyol SK Korea Expressway consortium are currently underway. The estimated cost of the project exceeds 350.7 billion tenge. According to calculation, the Big Almaty Ring Motor Road will be built until 2021.
The project of creating the infrastructure of road checkpoint in the area of Almaty Khorgos road (Western Europe Western China) is initiated by the private partner Eurotransit Terminal LLP.
Another 2 projects of constructing the bypass roads via PPP are scheduled for 2019-2023 in the South Kazakhstan region, the speaker notes.
Under the Construction and operation of toll road bypassing of Southwestern Shymkent project 48 km long, 110 million tenge is allocated for consulting services on the development of concession proposal and feasibility study. Estimated cost is 53.6 billion tenge.
The investment proposal to the economic conclusion was directed to the Ministry of National Economy under the Construction of the road Saryagash bypass with access to the border of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Konyspayev point) 98 km long. Estimated cost is 56.4 billion tenge.
