Kazakhstan plans to merge the register of property and the land cadastre. This was reported by the Minster of Justice Marat Beketayev at the extended board meeting at Kazmedia Center.

The Ministry of Justice, in order to facilitate the process of registering rights for real estate, plans to transfer all the technical work to the Government for Citizens state corporation. Currently we are discussing this issue with the Ministry of Information and Communication and if this experiment is successful, we will extend it to other types of public services. Aside from that, together with the Ministry of Agriculture, we are working on the issue of creating the Unified Cadastre information database. It is expected that this database will merge the real estate register and the land cadastre, simplifying the process of registering land and real estate, Beketayev said.

The Minister stressed that the Ministry is working on implementing instructions given in the Presidential Address “Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global competiveness.
