LABOR STATE INSPECTORS PROTECTED RIGHTS OF MORE THAN 41K WORKERS IN 2019
In 2019, state labor inspectors in 1,771 enterprises of the republic revealed wage arrears to 43.3 thousand employees worth more than 6.1 billion tenge, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.
As a result of the measures taken, including the establishment of tight schedules and maturities of wage arrears, the rights of more than 41 thousand employees were protected. They were paid 5.4 billion tenge.
The heads of these enterprises were issued 1,285 mandatory instructions and fines of more than 141 million tenge were imposed.
In general, in 2019, state labor inspectors conducted 9 513 inspections, revealed more than 12.9 thousand various violations of the labor legislation of Kazakhstan and imposed fines amounting to 467 million tenge.
