Kyrgyzstan’s Sharshenbekov becomes silver medalist of World Wrestling Championships
Greco-Roman wrestler from Kyrgyzstan Zholaman Sharshenbekov took the second place at the World Championships. This is indicated on the website of the United World Wrestling.
The tournament has ended yesterday, Nov.4 in Budapest (Hungary).
The Kyrgyz wrestler competed in the weight category up to 60 kg, defeating Asgar Alizad from Afghanistan, Russian Artur Petrosyan, Chinese representative Ligo Cao, Ukrainian wrestler Zhora Abovyan. Having reached the finals, he lost the gold medal to Armen Melikyan from Armenia.
