Kyrgyzstan’s national futsal team to play with Turkey

Kyrgyzstan’s national futsal team will play two friendly games with the participant of the European Championship, Turkey within the framework of preparation for 2020 AFC Futsal Championship.

According to the press service of the Football Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic, the matches will be held on Dec. 3 and 4 at the arena of the Gazprom fitness center in Bishkek. It will start at 20:00.

The team’s head coach Amirzhan Mukanov said the opponents do not belong to the elite of European futsal, but the level of European national teams is higher than in Asian.

“The two teams are about the same level. The Turkish team is now actively looking for opportunities to play friendly matches, this reflects their desire to progress in futsal. I am sure that we are waiting for two interesting and spectacular matches, he shared.

Futsal is a variant of association football played on a hard court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five a side football.
