Kyrgyzstan’s mas-wrestling team wins 11 medals at World Championship in Finland

Members of Kyrgyzstan’s national mas-wrestling team won 11 medals at the World Absolute Championship held on Dec. 17-20 in Finland.

The Department of Physical Culture and Sports reported that 12 countries participated in the international sports event. Kyrgyzstan was represented by 11 athletes in different weight categories (men and women).

According to the results of the World Championship, following athletes became winners and prize winners:

Gold – Eldos Aitbayev (70 kg), Aizhan Anarbekova (85 kg), Kymbat Nurzhanova (65 kg);

Silver – Azamat Asanov (60 kg), Bekmyrza Toktoshev (65 kg), Adilet Askarbekov (75 kg), Dilbara Imankanova (55 kg);

Bronze – Ataibek uulu Keldibek (105 kg), Dildora Rakhmonova (over 85 kg), Elza Abdykadyrova (65 kg) and Azat Tashtanbekov (90 kg).
