by October 22, 2021 Study

Citizens of Tajikistan, students enrolled in training or working as teachers/teachers in educational organizations of Kyrgyzstan are provided access to educational processes in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Corresponding changes were made in the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on May 21, 2021.

The document notes that access will be provided upon request of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan to the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the republic.

Earlier, the Kyrgyz Education Ministry introduced a draft regulation aimed at creating conditions for the above mentioned citizens of Tajikistan, in particular for students, schoolchildren and teachers from various educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, including ethnic Kyrgyz, to cross the border of the two countries by agreement with the competent state authorities of Kyrgyzstan.

In May of this year, Kyrgyzstan introduced temporary restrictions on the border with Tajikistan.
