Women’s wrestling team (U23) of Kyrgyzstan won eight medals at the Asian Championships.
The Under-17 (U17) and Under-23 (U23) Greco-Roman, freestyle and women’s wrestling championships held on June 19-26 in Bishkek.
The national women’s wrestling team earned 8 medals and took 2nd place in the team event. First place went to India, and Kazakhstan was named third.
Kyrgyzstan’s women’s wrestling team has 2 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals:
1 place – Aiperi Medet kyzy (76 kg);
1 place – Meerim Dzhumanazarova (68 kg);
2 place – Nurzat Nurtaeva (72 kg);
2 place – Dilnaz Sazanova (60 kg);
2 place – Bermet Nuridin kyzy (62 kg);
3 place – Aruuke Kadyrbek kyzy (55 kg);
3 place – Kalmira Bilimbekova (57 kg);
3 place – Sezim Dzhumanazarova (59 kg).
