A Kyrgyz trade house is opened in Seoul (South Korea) in order to intensify trade and economic cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said.

The trading house is established on the initiative of the Kyrgyz Embassy in South Korea with the assistance of Kyrgyzstani, president of NAG Group Gulshaiyr Nadyrbekova, who expressed her intention to promote Kyrgyz products in the Korean market.

The official ceremony was attended by Kyrgyz Ambassador to South Korea Aida Ismailova, President of the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) Kim Bying-kwan, honorary consuls of Kyrgyzstan in Korea Kim Jong Gu and Kim Hosong, as well as Kyrgyz citizens living in Korea.

In her speech, Ambassador Ismailova noted the importance of enhancing trade and economic cooperation with Korea and expressed hope that soon Kyrgyzstan’s products will be sold in major shopping centers in Korea.

In turn, KOIMA President Kim Bying-kwan said that Korean businessmen appreciated the quality of Kyrgyz products and expressed interest in establishing supply of organic products to the Korean market.

The Kyrgyz trade house features organic products from Kyrgyzstan, including felt products, natural honey, jams and other products of domestic companies that participated in the Import Goods Fair 2022 on June 23-25.
