Kyrgyz tankers begin preparations for ‘Tank Biathlon-2022’ in Alabino

The Kyrgyz Armed Forces team participating in the international Tank Biathlon- 2022 competition arrived at the Alabino training and tactical complex.

The tank crews have already received their armored vehicles, ran them in and shot them with tank weapons, and familiarized with the route of the upcoming competition and its specifics, the Kyrgyz Defense Ministry’s press service reported.

Kyrgyz tankers, who were included in the 1st division based on the results of last year’s games, this year will compete against strong contenders from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China and Russia.

International contest Tank Biathlon – 2022 will be held on Aug. 13-27, it will involve teams from 22 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. The stages of the competition include an individual race, a semi-final and a relay stage final.

Tournament participants will be judged on their battlefield orientation skills, tank control, accuracy shooting skills and fire control.
