Kyrgyz MFA expresses condolences over death of Belarusian FM Vladimir Makei

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan expressed condolences in connection with the untimely death of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Vladimirovich Makei.

“On behalf of the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the diplomatic service and on my own behalf, I express my deep condolences in connection with the untimely death of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Vladimirovich Makei.

Having gone a long way from an ordinary employee to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vladimir Vladimirovich proved himself to be a great patriot, a talented leader, an outstanding diplomat and statesman. He enjoyed unlimited authority among his colleagues and adequately represented the interests of his country in the international arena.

In our memory Makei will forever remain a wonderful soul, an experienced and wise comrade-in-arms, who made a lot of efforts to develop bilateral relations in the spirit of friendship and mutual support between Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.

I ask you to convey to the family and relatives of Vladimir Vladimirovich my sincere condolences with words of support and fortitude in these mournful days of irreparable loss.
