Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev took part in the #WalkTheTalk #HealthForAll #Sport4Health initiative, held as part of the 75th World Health Assembly in Geneva.
According to the press service of the ministry, the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic took part in a march that brought together hundreds of people in Geneva to promote healthy habits.
The Health for All Challenge was held with the participation of WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Gebreyesus, Regional Director Hans Kluge and others.
The race is organized to promote the principles of “Health for All” and “Sport for Health”.
Running, walking, and cycling contribute greatly to maintaining health: reducing the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and some forms of cancer, as well as helping to control body weight and improve mental well-being. Exercise also increases opportunities for social interaction and community involvement.
