As part of the qualifying round of the 2020 Asian Championship, today, Oct. 24 Kyrgyzstan’s national futsal team will play its first match against Turkmenistan, the press service of the Kyrgyz Football Federation reported.
The game will be held in Tabriz (Iran) at 18:00 (20:30 Bishkek time).
The national team of Turkmenistan held a powerful preparatory period. The team is very fast, aggressive. Iran’s national team does not need to be represented – it is one of the best teams in the world. We are looking forward to this match. We want to test ourselves in the game with a strong opponent. These two qualifying round matches will be very difficult for us. Therefore, we have our own ways, preparations, how to resist it, head coach Amirzhan Mukanov said.
The match between Kyrgyzstan and Iran will take place on Oct. 25 at 18:00 (20:30 Bishkek time).
Futsal (also known as fAtsal or footsal) is a variant of association football played on a hard court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It features similarities to five-a-side football.
