Kyrgyz FM and EU Special Rep for Central Asia exchange views on development of situation in Kazakhstan
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev held a telephone conversation with Special Representative of the European Union for Central Asia Terkhi Hakala the day before.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that during the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the development of the situation in Kazakhstan. The efforts of the leadership and people of Kyrgyzstan to support the fraternal people of Kazakhstan in resolving the crisis and ensuring stability in the country were noted.
When discussing issues on the bilateral agenda, the sides confirmed their intention to consistently implement agreements and plans for the near future in order to expand and strengthen partnership and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the European Union. In particular, the exchange of visits at high and highest levels, the signing of an Agreement on expanded partnership and cooperation, project and program interaction within the framework of the Multi-Year Indicative Program.
