Kyrgyz capital to host round table on public private partnership and business
Kyrgyzstan’s capital Bishkek will host Tuesday, Dec.3, 2019 round table on Public Private Partnership and Business: cooperation or competition?!, organized by the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan, the Center for Public Private Partnership under the Economy Ministry and the Training Center of the Finance Ministry in partnership with the JIA Business Association.
At the round table it is planned to discuss the legislative framework for private sector participation in PPP projects with business representatives who directly implement PPP projects in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Problems faced by business in the implementation of PPP projects will be discussed, as well as opportunities for the state and business in joint work on the development of infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan.
Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, heads of state and municipal bodies of the republic, representatives of the private sector, civil society and the media are invited to the event.
A public�private partnership (PPP, 3P, or P3) is a cooperative arrangement between two or more public and private sectors, typically of a long term nature. Public�private partnerships are primarily used for infrastructure provision, such as the building and equipping of schools, hospitals, transport systems, and water and sewerage systems.
