Kyrgyz and Georgian FMs sign Cooperation Program for 2020-2021

On the sidelines of the 26th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Bratislava, a bilateral meeting was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Chingiz Aidarbekov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, David Zalkaliani.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the parties summed up the results of bilateral cooperation in 2019, noting with satisfaction their intensification. The ministers exchanged views on the schedule of contacts in 2020, including the organization of mutual visits.

The ministers expressed their hope for further intensification of the whole range of relations between the countries, with emphasis on enhancing economic ties by holding the 2nd meeting of the Kyrgyz-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation in 2020 in Bishkek.

Following the meeting, a Cooperation Program is signed between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia for 2020-2021.
