The Kuwait Investment Company will study government projects in Kyrgyzstan and help raise funds for them from state funds and private family offices in Kuwait, the press service of the National Investment Agency reported.
The delegation of the Kuwait Investment Company is now in Bishkek and met with domestic businessmen and representatives of state enterprises. The National Investment Agency submitted lists of companies from business associations and large enterprises in Kyrgyzstan for study.
The Kuwaiti side has determined a short list with whom it is interested in holding meetings. Negotiations with these companies were held in the B2B format. Separate meetings were also held with state-owned companies to present large infrastructure projects. The Kuwaiti side showed interest in assisting in raising funds from state funds, as well as private family offices in large government projects, and requested more detailed information for detailed study and investment opportunities, the National Agency said.
Following the visit of the delegation of the Kuwait Investment Company, the foundations were laid for the further development of economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait.
