Kostanay automakers inform B. Sagintayev about expanding the range of cars for export and domestic market

In Kostanay, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev got acquainted with the work of LLP SaryarkaAvtoProm, where the range of cars produced and the export potential are being expanded within the framework of modernization.

The Prime Minister was informed about the installation of a new welding line for JAC S3 and PEUGEOT 301 bodies, and was shown the operating car painting shops, cars and buses assembly lines.

The plant workers demonstrated B. Sagintayev the IVECO Crossway buses that had already been shipped to EXPO-2017, and the line of produced cars and commercial vehicles. The plant has 7 brands: Peugeot, SsangYong, Iveco, Hyundai, JAC, JAC Commercial, Ravon and Chevrolet. In addition, production of electric vehicles is established.

It should be noted that the Head of State, within the framework of the Third Modernization of Kazakhstan, set the task of further developing the production of electric vehicles with export orientation, providing for the creation of the necessary infrastructure.

Today, domestic assembly cars are sold on the domestic market and in neighboring Russia. A memorandum of cooperation with “Holding Asia Group Tajikistan” is in the process of implementation, within which 2 thousand JAC and Peugeot cars will be delivered to Tajikistan.

LLP “SaryarkaAvtoProm” was established in 2010. At the enterprise for the period from 2010 to April 2017, 26345 cars were produced. In the first quarter of 2017, 971 cars were produced. The plant has created about 600 jobs.
