Kazakhstanis to be able to visit the UAE visa-free
Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates signed a protocol officially establishing a visa-free regime for citizens of both countries.
This was announced today by Minister of Foreign Affairs Kairat Abdrakhmanov.
An important result of our negotiations was the signing of the protocol On the introduction of changes and additions to the already existing agreement between the governments of the two countries on the exemption of visas for citizens of the two countries, holders of diplomatic passports. Thus, by signing this protocol all citizens of Kazakhstan, holders of civil passports, now have the opportunity to enter the UAE without a visa for up to 30 days, � he said.
The Foreign Ministry expressed cordial gratitude to counterparts from the Emirates for such an outcome of the talks.
Thanks to this, we have achieved a significant breakthrough in our relations, consultations on consular issues. And I take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to our Emirates counterparts for their constructive approach, goodwill, which enables our citizens to significantly expand the geography of their visa-free travel, � he stressed.
UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan noted that Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates have been on the course for this for a long time.
It was an honor for me to meet today with His Excellency Nursultan Nazarbayev. During the meeting, I was able to convey the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa to the President of Kazakhstan, as well as the reverence that we feel towards this country. We are connected with Kazakhstan by relations, which span more than a quarter of a century. During this time, both countries made great efforts to develop these relations, � he said.
