Kazakhstan to introduce an emergency call system for accidents and disasters in 2018
Kazakhstan plans to by 2018 complete the work on creating an emergency call system for accidents and disasters, designed to reduce the time of informing emergency services about accidents and emergencies.
Thanks to this system, assistance to victims will be provided within the so-called golden hour. This will significantly reduce road death-rates, Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry Beibut Atamkulov said during the Government hour in the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to him, the project has already developed software for data centers of the EVAC system. Automated workplaces for system operators have been deployed in all 14 regional emergency departments, and in Astana and Almaty.
The system is operating in pilot mode since January 1, 2017. Work on establishing the EVAC system will be completed in 2018, the Minister specified.
