Kazakhstan to continue creating joint industrial zones with Turkey

During the meeting, the sides discussed the development of further cooperation between the countries in the trade, economic and investment spheres. In particular, issues related to the continuation of the creation of joint industrial zones with Turkey in Kazakhstan, the increase in the volume of supplies of Kazakh grain to Turkey, the expansion and improvement of transit transport corridors, as well as the participation of Turkish investors in the development of Kazakhstan’s tourism infrastructure were discussed.

At the same time, during the meeting, the implementation of the joint economic program “New Synergy” signed by Head of State N. Nazarbayev and President of Turkey R. Erdogan in 2015 was considered.

At the end of the meeting, the issue of holding of the 10th meeting of the Kazakh-Turkish Intergovernmental Economic Commission, scheduled for August this year, was considered.
