This decision is dictated by the systematic detection of quarantine objects in products imported from China to Kazakhstan.
In accordance with the provisions of the International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures, Ministry of Agriculture’s Committee sent notifications to Chinese Main Customs Directorate about violation of international and uniform quarantine phytosanitary requirements when importing regulated products.
Having considered the official notification of the State Inspection Committee China’s quarantine service has initiated enhanced response measures.
In particular, the Chinese side revealed that systematic violations were committed due to the fact that some orchards did not take preventive measures against quarantine facilities.
