Kazakhstan stands for solution of the Middle East problem peacefully
The Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament, Dariga Nazarbayeva, received the Ambassador of Palestine to Kazakhstan, Montaser Abu Zeid.
The diplomat conveyed congratulations to the Head of the Senate from the Palestinian National Council on the occasion of the election of the head of the upper chamber of the Parliament and wished her further success.
D. Nazarbayeva emphasized that from the first days of independence, Kazakhstan has been advocating the solution of the Middle East problem peacefully and supports humanitarian actions of the international community aimed at the speedy social and economic rehabilitation of Palestine.
The Ambassador expressed his deep gratitude for the support and cooperation on the main issues of the international agenda.
Speaking about the development of trade and economic cooperation, M. Abu Zeid informed about the construction of the multifunctional complex Abu Dhabi Plaza, which will become the tallest building in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Already built 76 floors, in late October the Sheraton Hotel will be commissioned .
The parties also discussed the possibilities of expanding investment cooperation, simplifying the visa regime for Palestinian citizens, as well as the conflict at the Tengiz oil field. An interdepartmental commission has been created to study issues. The Senate speaker emphasized the need to comply with the laws of Kazakhstan by foreign citizens, as well as respect for the national traditions and customs of the Kazakh people.
