by January 26, 2017 Key Issues

“There is a progress of the implementation of tasks set by the Head of state in the strategic program “Five institutional reforms”, one of the points – the development of “Open Government”, – said K. Balabayev.

According to him, these reforms provide redistribution of powers between the executive and representative branches of government. It is proposed to provide them unprecedented functions for interaction.

“As the President of the country said, it is important to strengthen the role of Parliament in the formation of the Government to enhance the responsibility. Changes are expected to be significant. This reform is aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the management system “, – he stressed.

He noted that the fact that these changes may be accepted only after the public discussion is especially important, where each citizen can express own opinion. “I think that this is the evidence of the development of democracy”, – he concluded.
