Kazakhstan hosts the XV session of the Subcommission on Kazakh-Russian military-technical cooperation


Almaty hosted the XV plenary session of the Subcommission on military-technical cooperation of the Intergovernmental Cooperation Commission chaired by Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan Major-General Talgat Zhanzhumenov and Deputy Director of the Federal Service of Military-Technical Cooperation of the Russian Federation Vladimir Drozhzhov.

The meeting was attended by members of the Kazakh and Russian sides of the Subcommission, representatives of Ministries, departments, enterprises and organizations of the military-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.

The meeting discussed the current state and prospective directions of military-technical cooperation, including the development of the parties’ military-industrial enterprises; a protocol was signed which consolidated the decisions and intentions.

Within the program of the meeting, the Russian delegation got acquainted with the production capacities of defense enterprises JSC Aviaremontny No. 405 and JSC Kirov Machine-Building Plan located in Almaty.
