Kazakhstan, China discuss the course of implementing joint projects in the field of energy
On April 5, Beijing hosted the 10th meeting of the Kazakh-Chinese Subcommittee for Energy Cooperation of the China-Kazakhstan Cooperation Committee under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Asset Magauov and Chairman of the National Energy Administration of the People’s Republic of China Li Fangzhong.
The parties reviewed the results of implementing decisions taken at the 9th meeting of the Subcommittee. In addition, the meeting discussed the current condition and prospects of cooperation in oil and gas, nuclear energy, and cooperation in the field of energy, renewable energy and the course of implementing joint projects.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic Kazakhstan, JSC NC KazTransGas, JSC KazAtomProm and the embassy of Kazakhstan in China.
The Chinese side was represented by employees of the National Energy Administration of China, China Development Bank, as well as state and private energy enterprises.
The parties noted the high level of bilateral cooperation in the field of energy, and expressed confidence in the successful implementation of joint energy projects.
A Protocol was signed following the meeting.
