Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan hold inter-ministerial consultations in Astana
Political consultations took place in Astana between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Kazakh delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Galymzhan Koishybayev, the Azerbaijani delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalaf Khalafov.
During the consultations, the focus of discussion was the implementation of the agreements reached during the official visit of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Azerbaijan on April 2-3, 2017.
An exchange of views took place on topical issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Various aspects of the international agenda were discussed.
As a result of the talks, the sides stressed the importance of the recurrent nature of bilateral consultations.
