KAZAKHSTAN AND RUSSIA ADOPTED THE JOINT PROGRAM OF ACTION IN THE FIELD OF INDUSTRIAL COOPERATION
Within the framework of the visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev to the Russian Federation in Moscow the Joint Action Program in the sphere of the Kazakh-Russian production cooperation was signed.
The document was signed by Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Roman Sklyar and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.
The joint action program provides for the development of industrial cooperation, implementation of bilateral projects between the Kazakh and Russian enterprises on the existing and new production bases in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Implementation of the program will allow to establish a plant for agricultural, freight and passenger cars in Kazakhstan, including KAMAZ, AVTOVAZ, GAZ, PAZ and others. with the participation of Russian companies, car parts and spare parts worth over $ 1.2 billion. US $.
Industry is a link between the two countries’ economy, and jointly implemented projects make a significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s industry.
