KazakhExport: Geography of non-primary exports covers more than 30 countries

As Kuat Zholdybekov noted, at present the geography of non-primary exports covers more than 30 countries. These are mainly the CIS countries (Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan), the far abroad (USA, Germany, Turkey, Iran) and China.

“Just last week, during the visit of the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Askar Mamin, to Tajikistan, KazakhExport concluded a memorandum on export of buses, fittings and railway engineering production,” said K. Zholdybekov.

Therefore, with the support of KazakhExport, Tajikistan in order to expand the bus fleet in the city of Dushanbe will buy about 300 Hyundai County buses totaling over $19 million from Kazakhstan. Export of about 30 tons of rebar of Arcelor Mittal Temirtau JSC is also planned for the construction of the Rogun Hydro Power Plant worth over $16 million. This transaction will be implemented with the use of financial and insurance instruments of KazakhExport.

In addition, KazakhExport’s financial instruments will be used to supply railroad engineering products to Tajikistan. This is about exporting 300 flat cars, 200 gondola cars, 4 shunting and mainline locomotives, and the delivery of over 5200 tons of R-65 brand rails.
