KAZAKH-TURKISH RELATIONS DISCUSSED IN FOREIGN MINISTRY

Shahrat Nuryshev, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, received the newly appointed Turkish Ambassador, Ufuk Ekiji, the Kazakh foreign ministry informed.

The meeting saw the parties discuss the bilateral political, economic and cultural-humanitarian ties.

The Turkish ambassador handed a copy of his credentials.

Between January and November 2019, the volume of bilateral trade amounted to $2.8 billion, 67% higher than for the same period in 2018 ($1.5 billion), including exports – $2 billion and imports – $0.8 million.
