The “Bolashak” program has allowed Kazakhstan to integrate successfully in the training world system and to ensure the transfer of the best technologies in the Kazakh-economic, socio-cultural space, Secretary of State of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova has said at the III International conference of “Bolashak” program Bolashak Alumni Reunion Conference and Education Fair – 2016 (BARCEF – 2016).
“In the National Plan “100 concrete steps” President Nursultan Nazarbayev tasked to develop the expertise of the education sector and improve the quality of human capital on the basis of the OECD standard. One of the most effective measures to address this problem is the implementation of the “Bolashak” program and holding today’s exhibition. During the years of independence Kazakhstan has taken a strong position in the global political arena and entered the international arena with its own agenda, consisting of a number of major international projects. The initiatives of the Head of State on the issues of global nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation has had the global resonance at the Nuclear Security Summit, held this year in Washington, DC (USA), where the manifesto “The World. The 21 century” was voiced by President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The manifesto has gained the status of an official document of the General Assembly and the UN Security Council”, the Secretary of State has said.
In addition, according to the Secretary of State of Kazakhstan, in August Astana held the international conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site, and in November there will be the Astana world summit.
“The summit will be attended by the heads of states, heads of the governments, prominent political and public figures, scientists and businessmen from many countries. The “Bolashak” program is also one of the most important initiatives of the President of Kazakhstan, which in 23 years has allowed Kazakhstan to successfully integrate into the global system of training and ensure the transfer of the best technologies in the Kazakh-economic, socio-cultural space”, G. Abdykalikova has said.
According to her, the “Bolashak” project is the presidential investment in the future generation of managers, world-class specialists.
“Since the inception of the program more than 12 grants have been awarded and more than 8.5 thousand specialists have been trained. Thanks to the program each year Kazakh students join the ranks of highly skilled labor, the scientific potential of the country is strengthened. Today, the graduates of the program are a kind of a pool of high-level, high-quality professionals who contribute to the development of Kazakhstan’s science and economy”, the Secretary of State of Kazakhstan has added.
