Kazakh Prime Minister, Moscow State University Rector discuss Kazakh-Russian scientific cooperation
Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev met today at the Ukimet Uyi with the Rector of M.Lomonosov Moscow State University Victor Sadovnichy.
The meeting covered the prospects for the development of MSU Center for Fundamental and Applied Research and Astana International Scientific Complex created by the initiative of the Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Astana International Scientific Complex (ISC) was established in 2015 on the basis of Astana Analytical Center.
To date, there are three institutes and two centers at the ISC: Astana School of Economics, Institute of International Relations and Security, Institute of Political and Historical Studies, Sustainable Development Center, Center for Sociologic Research.
The project participants are M.Lomonosov Moscow State University, Fudan University (China), Columbia University (USA), and University of Cambridge (UK).
Astana branch of Moscow State University was created in 2000 by the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev with the active assistance of the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
