Kazakh Invest BoD meeting held in Ukimet Uyi
Today in Ukimet Uyi, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of NC Kazakh Invest JSC.
In the course of the meeting, Kazakh Invest Chairman Saparbek Tuyakbayev reported on the interim work results for 2018.
Since the beginning of the year, agreements has been reached with 42 new foreign investors on projects worth $ 7.5 billion. Construction and installation operations has been launched on 18 projects for $ 1 billion, 4 documents have been signed with major foreign investors. Active work began on 15 projects worth $ 7.1 billion.
S. Tuyakbayev noted that in accordance with the National Investment Strategy, interaction has been established with all priority countries, and selective targeting of foreign investors is carried out. Diplomatic representations of Kazakhstan abroad are actively involved in this work.
In the course of the meeting, the Board of Directors also approved a number of internal documents regulating the activities of the national company, including the Strategy of NC Kazakh Invest for a ten year period.
