KAZAKH FOREIGN MINISTRY TO PROVIDE TRANSIT CORRIDOR FOR KYRGYZSTAN’S CITIZENS STAYING IN RUSSIA
On this year the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan sent a note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan asking to provide a transit corridor through the territory of Kazakhstan to repatriate the citizens of Kyrgyzstan from the Russian Federation.
“In accordance with this appeal on May 18 this year the Interdepartmental Commission for prevention of the coronavirus spread under the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan made a positive decision to provide a non-contact transit corridor through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic staying in Orenburg region of the Russian Federation”, the message reads.
At the moment, the Kyrgyz side is working on issues of providing transport.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will provide comprehensive support to the Kyrgyz side.
