Kazakh ambassador thanks Bishkek residents for assistance during unrest in Kazakhstan
Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan Rapil Zhoshybayev met with Bishkek Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliyev and thanked him for assistance during the unrest in Kazakhstan, the press service of the Kyrgyz capital’s Mayor’s Office said.
During the meeting, the ambassador, on behalf of the leadership of Kazakhstan, expressed gratitude to Bishkek, in particular the head of the municipality for supporting Kazakhstanis during the unstable political situation in the country.
The mayor noted that Bishkek residents are very concerned about the fate of fellow citizens currently in Kazakhstan, as well as the health of Kyrgyzstani Cholponbek Sydykov, returned to Bishkek by Kyrgyz diplomats.
Aibek Dzhunushaliyev assured that the Mayor’s Office of Bishkek is always ready to assist in establishing and strengthening peace and stability, supporting the brotherly people.
The sides also stressed the importance of further strengthening cooperation and implementation of previously reached agreements.
