The Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has been informed on the activities of the Centre that provides legal, psychological and social services under the one window principle, the Akorda press service informs.

The Centre consults on health, education, entrepreneurship, targeted social assistance and housing programmes.

Welcoming the Januya (Family) Centre’s initiatives, the Head of State announced the need for the same centres across all the regions of the country.

The President has also held a conversation with all the participants of the Kasipker ana (Mother entrepreneurs) located in the confines of the Centre.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has also toured the capital’s secondary school No.23.

The visit saw Nur-Sultan’s Mayor Altai Kulginov inform the President on the implementation of the tasks given at the meeting on the capital’s development. According to the mayor, 6 new schools for 5 thousand pupils have been opened, 12 schools for 9 thousand pupils are slated for opening in the next year.

The Head of State heard the implementation of the tasks regarding the development of 16 apartment blocks in the suburbs, which are a home for 25% of the capital’s population. The mayor went on to say that the capital has 8 schools in three shifts, further rising to 10-12 yearly in the future.

4 new sports facilities are under development in order to promote mass sport, according to the mayor.

The Head of State has looked around the No.23 secondary school’s rooms as well as its material and technical base, held talks with pupils and teachers, who shared the school’s needs.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has informed his awareness on the school’s problems and directed to build a new school nearby.
