KASSYM-JOMART TOKAYEV, RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR REVIEWED PREPARATIONS FOR XVII INTERREGIONAL COOPERATION FORUM
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Kazakhstan, Aleksei Borodavkin, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the press service of Akorda.
The two sides discussed the current state and prospects of the Kazakh-Russian comprehensive strategic partnership. Particular attention was paid to the development of trade, economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
The Head of State noted the importance to enhance cooperation in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, both bilaterally and through the Eurasian Economic Union.
The interlocutors reviewed the preparations for the XVII Interregional Cooperation Forum, scheduled for November this year. The President of Kazakhstan focused on the need to ensure high-quality substantive content of this event.
The meeting also addressed topical issues of the regional and international agenda.
