Karakol town hosts forum on prevention of religious extremism among youth
A forum on the prevention of religious extremism among young people is being held in Kyrgyzstan’s Karakol town, the press service of the Issyk-Kul Internal Affairs Department said.
At the initiative of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul Oblast, a forum aimed at the specifics of youth policy on the prevention of religious extremism in the region.
The event brought together representatives of law enforcement agencies and educational organizations.
The forum participants discuss issues related to the field of prevention of religious extremism and terrorism among young people in the context of modern interethnic relations, as well as ways to instill in the younger generation a strong rejection of religious extremist ideas.
